Bookkeeper
Amanda Kenyon
Amanda moved to Brattleboro from Connecticut in 2020, called to the mountains. She loves the community, walkable town center, accessible nature, and the diversity of arts here – including circus.
As a bookkeeper, Amanda enjoys its practical purpose, a sense of order and balance, and satisfaction from organization of details. She has held financial, accounting and tax roles for corporations, non-profits, and partnerships, as well as in her prior self-employment as a band manager and music promoter. Today, she balances her work as a bookkeeper with her work as a Forest Therapy Guide. Amanda guides immersive experiences with Nature that expand connection to our world and deepen our sense of gratitude and well-being of body, mind, and spirit.
She holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, an M.B.A. from the University of Hartford, and certifications from The Forest Therapy School and SOLO Wilderness First Aid. Amanda enjoys belly dance, meditation, walks in the woods, summiting high peaks, cooking, live music, comedy, and studying ways to live a more caring and complete human existence.
