About the Coach

Elly Craig is happy to be back in good ol’ Bratt! They graduated from NECCA’s ProTrack program in 2022 and have been touring with independent ensemble companies ever since. They specialize in cyr wheel, partner acrobatics, and bits and bobs of other things like juggling hot dogs. Joy and play is an incredible driving force for Elly and it is relevant in all the art they make. They enjoy experimenting with odd stuff, making a fool of things, messing up, communicating effectively, laughing a lot, interacting in a compassionate and informed way, and goofing off.

Scott Dare is a Chicago based circus and physical theatre artist specializing in partner acrobatics and the Frantic Assembly devising method. He loves creating through collaboration and finding story in movement. In addition to his circus pursuits, Scott holds a Masters degree in Contemporary Theatre from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Black belt in traditional martial arts with the ISKA. He’s appeared on stages in Germany, England, Scotland, and has toured nationally. Favorite collaborations include working with Aloft, People’s Circus Theatre, Actors Gymnasium, Physical Theatre Festival, Theater Unspeakable, and Broken Planet Show. More at scottjdare.com.
