Let’s explore the dance trapeze together, including its unique capacity to support wraps, drops and spins. With conversations about technique and the mechanics of the skills, we’ll touch on specific tricks as well as unique sequencing.

Prerequisites:
Students should be able to do a full body hang for 30 seconds (feet of the ground) with straight arms and for 30 seconds with bent arms, be able to confidently invert under the bar and in the ropes, and hold a one knee hang on at least one side.

12 and up.

Ash Meyer is excited to be at NECCA in collaboration with Aloft. With a Bachelors Degree in Circus, awarded by The National Centre for Circus Arts and almost a decade of teaching experience, they provide detailed, passionate coaching for all ages, levels, and bodies.
