Methods of Momentum for Rope & Fabric

Learn how to use momentum to your advantage and everything you do in the air will look and feel easier!

We’ll break down a variety of beat pathways that can be used as transitions, skill prep, or beautiful movements on their own. Then we’ll dive into some classic dynamic skills such as j-flips, saltos, and twists.

Cost:

Prerequisites:
Students should be able to hang by two arms for at least 30 seconds, and be able to invert comfortably and frequently.

What to Wear:
Please wear clothing that protects your body from rope kisses (aka rope burns).

12 & up or by permission of instructor

About the Coach

Eleanor Parker is a multi-disciplinary circus performer and educator based in Chicago. A ProTrack graduate of the class of 2020 at NECCA, Eleanor has had the incredible opportunity of traveling all over the world with companies including AIDA Cruises, Cirque Dreams, and more.
