About Online Lessons

We can work with you on anything you have access to. If you have a home studio, have access to equipment elsewhere, or if you just have your living room, we can challenge and inspire you in your workout. Once your lesson is scheduled we’ll send you a link to the Zoom meeting for your lesson. It’s easy!

Pricing

For hand balancing, contortion, partner acrobatics, German wheel, Cyr wheel*, solo & duo trapeze, fabric (silks), rope/Spanish web, straps, lyra/hoop, hammock/net, rope & harness dance, pole, bungee, juggling, tight wire, tramp wall, invented apparatus, and much more!  *NEW:  Sports Massage & Stretch Therapy*

  • 1 person:$99/hr
  • 2 people: $110/hr
  • 3 people: $120/hr
  • 4 or more people: $35 each/hr

*We have Cyr wheels appropriate for students 5’4″ – 6’3″

General Policies
  • Please allow up to 10 business days for private lessons to be arranged. New students or complicated requests may take longer.
  • The earliest we can book a private lesson is 3 business days before the requested class date. Requests without adequate lead time will be denied.
  • No lesson requests are guaranteed as lesson bookings are based on the availability of coaches and space.
  • Private lessons are subject to change or cancellation at any time.
Online Lesson Policies

For online classes you must have these things:

  • Have access to a computer or phone for a connection to Zoom.
  • Be in a quiet location.
  • Have appropriate safety established including mats/matting for aerials.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Online Coaching

We can help you with flexibility training, fitness work and hand balancing.  You just need enough space to lie down on the floor and move your arms and legs (like a snow angel) and we’ll get you started.  If you have a clear wall and a chair or stool that’s even better.

Yes!  Our coaches have a lot to offer and will work with you creatively to give you things to work on.

No worries, we can reschedule with no penalty.

We get it! We can reschedule or cancel with no penalty.

Yes!  We can help you with planning your training, selecting content for your web site, creating your technical rider, or building your promo video(s).

Yes, but we do ask that an adult is available to help out for the best outcome.

Personal Reserved Training

If you are looking for a specific training space or access to a specific apparatus, or training time outside of Members Only or Open Studio hours, please reach out to schedule this by filling out this form.  You must complete the Members Only orientation before using Reserved Training hours (see above under “Members Only”). The cost of a reserved training space is $15/hour.

Reserved Training with Support

Many of our advanced and professional students need a support person in order to practice their craft. For example, a puller for an aerial act on our butterfly lift or our mechanical advantage lines, a safety line holder for swinging trapeze, or someone to hand them props during a run through of an act.

If you would like to add Training Support, this is available for 50% off the private lesson fee ($49.50/1 hour).  Please email our Scheduler at scheduler@necenterforcircusarts.org.
