See You In Vermont!
Visiting NECCA
Brattleboro, our home town, is a vibrant community of 12,000. It’s a rural location, so transportation is a little different than a larger city. We have a reliable, old-fashioned taxi service, and a budding two car Uber service. Join our Destination NECCA page on Facebook for local resources and the latest on how you can make your trip to Brattleboro unforgettable!

ACCESSIBILITY
New England Center for Circus Arts is committed to being accessible and inclusive to our students, staff and greater community. Our goal is to follow accessibility practices whenever we provide services and to create accessible and inclusive environments and communications.
Parking
Main parking lots at the Trapezium and Cotton Mill campuses have designated accessible parking for people with limited mobility. We are currently working to improve the parking lot at the Trapezium for better accessibility.
Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Our staff also make accommodations with prior arrangements for those that need door to door drop off; contact info@necenterforcircusarts.org or call 802-254-9780 for assistance.
Entrances
Entrances for guests with wheeled assisted mobility devices (wheelchairs, walkers, scooters) are located on the first floor and second floor (for loft access only) of the Trapezium.
Wheeled access at the Cotton Mill is found on the North end of the building via a freight elevator, following signs to the elevator (NECCA studios 330 and 350 are on the third floor; follow signs). If you anticipate that using a freight elevator is prohibitive to access on your own, please contact info@necenterforcircusarts.org and we can send someone to assist you.
Accessible seating for performances at the Trapezium is located at the west entrance off the lobby of the performance space and is indicated by signage. Ushers are on hand to provide assistance.
If you need accommodation for performances or events, or for reading a document or other information, contact info@necenterforcircusarts.org or call 802-254-9780.
Restrooms
The Trapezium contains three bathrooms and all are gender neutral. All bathrooms have accessible facilities.
The Cotton Mill restrooms are located on the third floor near staircases and are accessible for wheelchair access.
Seating
Accessible seating for performances at the Trapezium is located at the west entrance off the lobby of the performance space and is indicated by signage. Ushers are on hand to provide assistance.
Curriculum and Apparatus for Circus Classes
Our Aerial apparatus rigging is rated for use up to 4,000 lbs and many devices (lyra, trapeze, aerial sling, vertical dance harness, rope, silks) are adaptable for different body sizes and types. Additionally, after a safety check, students are invited to bring their own apparatuses for rigging during class.
Our coaches are trained and experienced with adapting class structure and curriculum for varying degrees of mobility, body types and abilities. For more information about specific training and experience, please reach out using the contact info below. Each of our coaches has a different level of experience and training.
If you require accommodations or have questions about curriculum or apparatus, please email info@necenterforcircusarts.org or call 802-254-9780.
